Identification App Project
Our goal: allow the inhabitants of Israel to get access to the online services offered by the government that need secure identification.
My Role
I led this project as product designer (CX; UX; UI) from January 2020 until now. Responsible for UX\UI redesign of all the processes of this application while adding some new features and processes.
Customer Insights & Ideation
This project was launched following the creation of the new design system for the government's digital interfaces. The principle of this application is that like Facebook, it can allow the inhabitants of Israel to connect subsequently to all state services (including banks, water and electricity companies ...).
Experience Strategy & Vision
I was asked to rethink the screens of this application using the data collected by analysis tools, the opinions of users collected all over the net as well as the interviews that I organized.
Planning & Scope Definition
I took part in numerous meetings concerning the new functionalities in order to be able to better understand them and insert them into the flow.
Design Execution & Validation
Thanks to the results of my research and the data collected, I created wireframes, prototypes and mockups of a responsive web design (mobile first). In addition, I redesign the GovId App and created a new flow in this app (IOS and Android).
The challenge
Product and Data security limitations
The project was built on the basis of a shelf product developed in a very old language that limits the possibilities for improvement. In addition the requirements of securing the information were many and burdened on the various processes.
